Ashlar at Waterstreets

executive stays

Starting life circa 1850 as the Commercial Hotel, later known to locals as "Waterstreet's" after the long term publicans, 430 Smollett St is the oldest hotel building still standing in Albury. Located less than 200 meters to Dean St, in recent times the hotel has been perfectly transformed into simply stunning, residential townhouses. Waterstreets displays a perfect blend of both colonial and modern architecture, providing its owners the quintessential, urban, inner city pad.

An oversized open plan living/dining space on the ground floor flows effortlessly to the amazing top speced kitchen with high ceilings and picture windows, allowing plenty of natural light to flood over the stone bench tops and crisp white cabinetry. The beautiful hardwood stairwell leads up to the king size guest bedroom with walk in robe, a central luxurious bathroom with freestanding tub, separate shower and second toilet. Add to this a huge master suite, that has its own private balcony overlooking Albury's CBD and the courtyard. The home is comfortable all year round with three split systems and the beautiful warmth of hydronic heating into every room.

Outside the home there is intercom security on entry, a large private courtyard for entertaining and at the rear of the property with access via COD lane, is remote controlled entry and single lock up garage. As an added bonus there is two visitor parking spaces.

Our rooms have brand new King sized pillow top beds, 1200thread sheets, Hilton Donnas and Pillows, & Executive bath sheets and towels,

 professionally laundered for every stay
